Crocell Video for Behind the Veil
My old friend Tommy’s band Crocell has just – at long last – released their video for the song Behind the Veil. One of the best metal-videos to come out of denmark ever, in my opinion.
Mordax – A Promising Band
Some of the guys from Ribe, one of which has previously played in Decensus and Scaffold and an other which has played in Everticum for a single concert (actually as a replacement for yours truly), has created a new band. I suspect none of them live in Ribe anymore (last I heard anyway). Ejnar, their drummer, sent me a link to their MySpace profile as a response to my HateSphere post.
They play melodic metal just the way I like it. Brutal, melodic, great production and wellplayed. They are all great musicians, but two of them are not the typical metalheads (at least not in my mind). Well either something changed, or they have held me in the dark.
I have always liked the projects Asbjørn has been involved with – he is either talented or lukcy! Maybe he should new bands every two years, because everytime it seems like a quantum leap in quality on all fronts.
Give them a chance. Definitely worth your time.
The new HateSphere songs sound great
I was just looking at DanishMetal.dk and found the link to HateSphere’s Myspace profile in the news section, with a notice that they uploaded two tracks from their upcomming album entitled “To The Nines”.
Great songs in my opinion – maybe not much more than you could have expected, but sometimes that is a good thing.
